Already a leading brand in the German sports water market, Active 02 Sport is now set to arrive in Britain.

Although new to the UK, its basic ingredient - Adelholzener natural mineral water - was first discovered in the Bavarian Alps 1,700 years ago.

Bought by the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Vincent de Paul in 1907 and still owned by them, Adelholzener operates the oldest mineral and medicinal water springs in Bavaria and passes all profits, after necessary investments, to fund charitable organisations such as kindergartens and hospitals.

Active 02 Sport is a high-oxygen, lightly sparkling water and Embury Lloyd is its sole UK distributor.

It is available unflavoured as well as in three fruit flavours - Sport Apple, Sport Orange, and Sport Citrus - each with the addition of magnesium and oxygen.

The bottle comes with a specially designed sports lock closure.
