Weight Watchers has just launched a Chocolate Mini Roll, the latest in its Weight Watchers cakes range produced by Anthony Alan Foods.
The new Mini Roll has a 'triple-chocolate' theme - chocolate-flavour sponge with a chocolate flavour filling, all coated in real milk chocolate - and have been developed as a healthier alternative to the full-fat product.
Each 24gm cake has 3.8g of fat, 90 calories and a Weight Watchers POINTS ® value of only 1-1?2. Available in shelf-ready packaging, the Chocolate Mini Roll has an RRP of £1.25 and comes in packs of six.
Elsewhere, Anthony Alan Foods has announced that the Weight Watchers cake portfolio for Christmas 2005 will include Christmas Cake Slices, Mini Yule Logs, Mince Pies and an individual Christmas Pudding.
Ideal for health-conscious customers they are said to have all the flavour of traditional recipes and yet contain lower amounts of fat and calories. The mince pie, for instance, contains 148 calories, 2gm of saturated fat and a POINTS value of 2-1/2.
The Christmas collection is available now.
