Geneva-based skin care brand Alchimie Forever has added a new eye balm to its range of products.
Superpulse Rejuvenating Eye Balm has been created specifically to heal and protect the delicate eye contour area.
Amongst the ingredients are jojoba seed oil and cocoa butter for adding a boost of moisture to increase firmness and elasticity. Also included are antioxidants derived from grape seeds and blueberries, plus the vitamin K contained in alfalfa, combining to reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark circles.
This special blend is also said to help prevent the formation of free radicals, which, over time, reduces the effects of environmental stress.
The full range of Alchimie Forever products comprises face and body treatments designed for daily use and is based on a combination of natural antioxidants, including green tea, rosemary, basil, turmeric, blueberries, grape seeds, and tomatoes.
It currently consists of 15 items, ten for women, three for men, and two speciality products, Afterlase - designed to soothe the skin after laser treatments such as hair or vein removal - and Kantic Mask, a moisture mask suitable for both men and women.
The products are moisturising, smoothing, toning, energising, regulating, renewing, firming, protecting, and rejuvenating.
Alchimie-Forever was launched in 2000 by cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Luigi Polla and his wife, Dr. Barbara Polla, a leader in biomedical research on cellular aging and anti-aging technologies.
In May 2003, their eldest daughter, Ada Polla, created Alchimie Forever LLC to distribute the products in the US through high-end cosmetic dermatology offices and medical spas.
