Challenger Security Products has just launched a new range of CCTV cameras which incorporate lighting control for the first time.

The cameras are suitable for both commercial and domestic use and include the VKCP60, a working camera with security lighting PIR sensor; the VKCP62, a dummy camera with a working security light PIR sensor; the VKCP63, a dummy camera with a dummy PIR sensor and a flashing LED deterrent; and the VKCP65, a working camera and infra-red LED illumination.

The working cameras are black and white with 400 TVL resolution and a 90 degree viewing angle and will connect to a TV or video via a scart or other ancillary CCTV equipment.

PIR sensors come as two separate items on the cameras to provide full coverage of 180 degrees forward and 360 degrees downward with a detection range of up to 12m.

All models are IP44 rated with aluminium and die cast metal housing, with vertical and horizontal adjustments.
