Just in time for next summer's smoking ban, the Cambridge Glasshouse Company has introduced a new outdoor product, the Cambridge Canopy.
Offering a wide range of applications for the food and licensed trade, each canopy is designed, manufactured and fully installed to a customer's exact specifications.
It is then powder coated, to protect it from the elements and create a quality finish. A choice of colours is available, including bespoke shades. There's also a choice of materials for the roof, including twin-wall polycarbonate, composite panels, metal or glass.
Made from galvanised steel, the canopy can be used as an 'add on' to an existing building, or as a stand alone structure. A further benefit is that - in some cases - planning permission may not be needed which can greatly reduce the project's completion time.
The canopy is a new venture for the company, which manufactures leisure and research buildings, specialising in a wide range of commercial structures using glass and polycarbonate, together with composite clad retail structures.
In addition to research buildings, garden centres and retail outlets, the company produces a wide range of ancillary products and equipment, including animal and bird housings, butterfly houses and insectaries, pergolas, clock towers and atriums, orangeries, propagation houses, potting sheds, packing houses and cold rooms.
It also offers a full range of support services including heating, lighting, irrigation, ventilation systems, air conditioning, thermal, shade and blackout screens together with display benching.
