DCC Corporate Clothing launched a new range of health and leisure club sector workwear by getting the staff of Positive Lifestyle Training in Newcastle and Urban Spa in Morpeth to test it.
Employees were put through their paces boxing, pumping iron, cycling and having a manicure, while at the same time assessing the range's comfort, durability and appearance.
One of the items tested was DCC's Hudson suit - worn for the day by gym owner Wayne Ritzema - which costs under £70 and is made of 100 per cent easy to wash polyester.
It comes in a number of shades, offering flexibility for corporate colours, with the company planning to launch others later.
Elsewhere on the day, cleaner Jasmine Robinson worked out in a royal blue tabard with pocket front and white workwear dress from the company's Wellbeing range, and maintenance man Edward Simpson took time out to have his nails done in DCC's bib & brace, also in royal blue.
Design Director Gary Janes said: “Customers today demand a high standard of service and in the health and leisure industry that includes everything from the customer service to equipment, to the presentation of staff."
