Opal brush system shortlisted for award

Opal London's Ergoform™ Lymphatic Drainage & Dry Body Brush System - a capsule brush pack for all professional lymphatic stimulation and detoxifying massage treatments - has been shortlisted for the UK beauty retail industry's prestigious Pure Beauty Awards 2006.

Preparing the skin by dry brushing is said to greatly enhance the performance of all other massage and body treatments. By stimulating the lymphatic capillaries below the surface of the skin, dry brushing helps to detoxify the body, rebalance fluids, protect the immune system, boost circulation and improve the appearance of the skin.

The system kit contains three specialist Ergoform heads: a Mexican Sisal Dry Body Brush, whose natural stiffness creates the correct amount of pressure to stimulate lymph vessels under the skin; a Lymphatic Detox Brush which, with natural rubber pins incorporated into the head of a pure bristle brush, imitates the applied 'pushing' pressure of a lymphatic drainage massage whilst gently stimulating the skin's surface; and a Cellulite & Muscle Massager with rounded wooden pins which help to work on softening collagen fibrils and mobilise fat after exercise.

Also included are an Exfoliating Mitt made from a revolutionary new fibre that removes dead surface skin cells from hard-to-brush areas, and a Wipe Down Mitt made of cotton terry toweling to soothe the skin after dry brushing and remove excess oil after massage.

The three specialist Ergoform heads in the kit are designed to be versatile and can be used with either their own canvas hand straps or a single long reach curved handle, depending on the situation.

All are made from top quality materials and are double varnished to help withstand damp spa environments.
