MDH Wireless Technologies has launched a new poolside call system which enables lifeguards and pool attendants to summon assistance quickly in emergency situations.

The new swimSentry features an integral siren (optional) and sends messages to dedicated pagers throughout a leisure complex. The fully waterproof, battery operated unit has a large red button which, when pressed, activates the external siren and the internal transmitter.

As the external siren summons those in the immediate vicinity, the internal transmitter simultaneously sends a message to a pocket pager up to 250m away. The pager alerts the wearer by bleeping or vibrating and also displaying the location of the alarm unit sending the alert.

A system can comprise an unlimited number of both transmitters and pagers and all pagers will respond to all transmitters.

Additional equipment such as passive infrared motion detectors (PIRs), door alarms and portable panic alarms can be added to the system at any time.

swimSentry requires no licence and no wiring so it can be set up and installed in minutes.
