This year, Swiss Timing has introduced a number of new products for a range of sports.
These include transponders mounted on athletes’ bibs for athletics, new starting blocks for swimming, competition GPS tracking systems for dinghy racing, and a new range of photofinish cameras, which provide the highest quality photofinish images available.
Swiss Timing is part of the Swatch Group, the world’s largest watch making company, which includes the brands OMEGA, Swatch, Tissot, Longines and Breguet.
Swiss Timing provides timing services at sports events from local, right up to Olympic level, meaning it has to stay at the forefront of technology and continually strive to improve the service provided – not only to athletes, but to spectators and officials, too.
