New performance flooring range from EXF delivers on function and aesthetic

EXF Fitness is the flooring supplier of choice to some the capital’s most iconic gyms including Gymbox, WIT One New Change and Ministry Does Fitness.

Its performance flooring delivers high performing flooring solutions to suit all budgets; the Essential Performance range, offers quality at a lower-cost, while the high-performance Strength and Power products deliver on the toughest of briefs. With a choice of roll-out or tile solutions in any colour, EXF can deliver an aesthetic solution to meet any brief.

EXF’s flooring products meet all required EN safety and quality standards as well as being REACH accredited to give total peace of mind. Manufactured in Europe and under the tightest quality control processes the company can provide exceptional lead times of between 2-4 weeks, including delivery and installation.

Most recently, EXF has kitted out new training facility and retail space, WIT One New Change, providing new flooring and a bespoke storage solution to maximise space. Due to WIT’s unique location, it was vital for the brand to find a flooring solution which would reduce noise and vibration. EXF were able to offer the perfect bespoke solution by installing 225sqm of black tile flooring from its new Strength Performance range. Able to withstand the toughest of environments the Strength range has been specifically designed for areas that require exceptional flooring protection, such as weight lifting or Olympic performance zones. The EXF team were also able to supply and fit a large CNC cut logo into the flooring to create a seamless brand identity.

EXF completed the installation in just three days, working overnight to meet the tight deadlines and ensuring the club opened on time.

Sam Norman, director of WIT Training, says: "Building a functional gym in a central London shopping centre is no easy task. Throughout this project we’ve been thoroughly impressed by the work EXF has produced and the end result did not disappoint. The knowledge and expertise of the team was amazing as we were able to rely on them to provide us with some last minute customised storage. If it wasn’t for their market knowledge, then we simply wouldn’t have the facility that we do. We look forward to working with EXF in the future as we continue to develop the WIT brand."
