Multi-million dollar sales for Leisure Labs

Florida-based Leisure Labs LLC reports that it has secured projects in 2005 so far with a value of about $30m.
The company assisted its partners Mack Rides, Great Coasters International, I.E. Park and HUSS in gaining over a dozen projects, with customers including Dubai's I&M Galadari Group, Marineland Canada, PNE in Vancouver, Dollywood and Adventureland, Long Island, plus another major US project yet to be officially announced.
The largest current project, Restless Planet - which is owned by the I & M Galadari Group and being developed in conjunction with London's Natural History Museum and Jack Rouse Associates - involves multiple major Mack and HUSS ride systems.
Jim Hartley, one of the founders of Leisure Labs, says: "These ride systems will be used in advanced and spectacular ride and show attractions, and several will introduce all new major ride platforms."
The as yet unannounced project in the US involves a major theme park operator and a new-age Mack Powered Coaster. While Mack has installed some 45 Powered Coasters to date, this installation - scheduled for a spring 2006 opening - will be the second in North America.
Bob Dean, Leisure Labs president, comments: "We like to call this product The Original Family Launch Coaster. It is totally family oriented, being open to children as small as 42in in height, but can be launched or decelerated anywhere on the track."
