Soft drink manufacturer, Metro Drinks has improved and re-launched its Juice Patrol children's drink to meet the new Nutritional Guidelines for Schools.
Made with spring water, fruit juices and fruit extracts, the range is free from any kind of artificial additive - meaning sweeteners, flavours, colours, stabilisers and preservatives - except for a little extra Vitamin C.
Now packed in smaller 330ml plastic bottles with a new style re-sealable sports cap, Juice Patrol still fruit juice drinks are naturally sweetened with fruit extract instead of ordinary sugar.
The range - reported to have an average of 29 calories per 100ml (or 95 calories per bottle) - comes in three flavours, each containing fruit juices and purées: Orange & Mango, English Apple & Pear and Strawberry & Banana.
The range has been developed with the support of the Hyperactive Children's Support Group, the UK's leading charity dedicated to helping children with ADHD and hyperactive children through a dietary approach.
Juice Patrol is available in packs of 24, has a nine month shelf life and each unit has a RRP of 79p. It is already available from a number of independent wholesalers and vending operators, including Spring Fine Foods, Greenfields, Cotswold Fayre, Tavern Snacks, The Green Machine and the Natural Vending Company.
Metro Drinks also produces the Latitude range of iced teas, Qu4ttro Stagioni, a premium adult soft drinks range and Herbert's Iced Coffee, the UK's first RTD Fairtrade iced coffee.
