S&C Slatter installed a 3G Football Turf match pitch for Sutton United

Sutton United plays in The National League South and has a new 3G Football Turf match pitch designed and installed by S&C Slatter.

The work features a state-of-the-art FieldTurf Vertex 3G Football Turf installed over a 25mm E-Layer performance base.

The eight week fast-track works programme involved significant earthworks and sub-base construction incorporating piped lateral drainage.

The FIFA 2-star certified 3G Football Turf pitch is designed to consistently deliver an excellent standard of play performance and player comfort, regardless of the weather.

The company will be discussing its latest project at Saltex grounds care exhibition in Birmingham, UK, in November 2015.
