Sports nutrition company bio-synergy has linked up with Marvel comics in the fight to get kids to eat and drink healthily.
The company has introduced three new fruit bars - Coconut & Papaya, Pineapple & Mango and Multifruit - which are to be fronted by Spiderman, Wolverine, Human Torch, Captain America and Elektra, some of the characters appearing in the forthcoming film, X-Men 3.
A blend of 100 per cent whole fruits, the Marvel Heroes Fruit bars contain no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives and have no added sugar or sweetener. Neither do they have any trans fats, processed sugars, additives, preservatives or GMOs. They are also free from dairy, gluten and wheat.
bio-synergy says that each bar is equal to one portion of fresh fruit, helping kids to reach the FSA recommendation of at least five portions of fruit and veg a day.
