Electronics giant Sanyo has unveiled the UK's first weather-resistant commercial use LCD TV.

Developed and manufactured in Britain by the company's Suffolk factory, the 32in panel - which has a 176 degree viewing angle - is designed for both interior and exterior use and, with an IP56 weather-resistant accreditation, is capable of standing up to not only a range of weather conditions but also those found in smoky, dusty, humid or other harsh environments.

Sanyo says that the wide range of applications for its new TV include advertising, branding or sponsorship at open-air corporate events, displaying television or drinks promotions in a pub gardens or courtyards and music line-ups at a festival. It can also be used in hotel health spas and even the guests bathrooms!

The Sanyo Outdoor LCD CE32LM3WP-B comes complete with TV tuner, plus SCART/PC and BNC inputs.
