Lindley Catering (Lindley) and Heathcotes Outside (Heathcote's) are to join forces in a move which will create one of the UK's leading catering companies to the leisure industry.
Lindley brings 38 years of experience in the leisure industry and over 50 contracts to combine with Heathcote's ten years experience.
Paul Heathcote, as a Michelin star, Egon Ronay Chef of the Year and Catey's Industry Restaurateur of the Year, has created a successful sports stadia and event company, Heathcotes Outside, which has won contracts at Chester and Bangor racecourses in addition to Liverpool FC, Preston North End, Warrington Wolves and the Liverpool Albert Docks Summer Pops.
Lindley is currently the market leader in the provision of public catering services to sports stadia with over 40 contracts ranging from Dundee United, Celtic, Sunderland, Rotherham, West Bromwich Albion, and Oxford United to Plymouth Argyle and Ipswich Town.
In addition, the company is the provider of catering services to The Royal centre in Nottingham, The Malvern Theatre Group, The Royal Agricultural Showground in Stoneleigh and the City of Manchester Stadium.
Heathcote will become a director of this new group, which will have a turnover in excess of £40m, and continue to be actively involved in its future growth. Gary Bates the managing director of Heathcote's Outside will continue to oversee the day-to-day management of the Heathcote's contracts.
