Empire Food Brokers is adding to its range of imported American fine foods, with the launch of award winning Russell Stover 'No Added Sugar' confectionery.

Previously unavailable in the UK, America's best selling 'No Added Sugar' line includes a wide range of flavours and varieties including chocolates, chocolate boxes and hard candies.

The sweets contain sugar substitutes, including Splenda® and Maltitol, which the company says that whilst the total carbohydrate level is similar to regular confectionary, the net-effective carbohydrate is significantly lower.

The range has won a 2005 'Best Taste Award' from America's Culinary Institute and a logo highlights the award on all packs, these being in a distinctive green-foiled design.

Russell Stover 'No Added Sugar' confectionery is available in pack formats as follows: Chocolate Counter Packs - Pecan Delight, Coconut and Mint Creams, all 40 x 28.35g; Chocolate Peg Bags - Pecan Delight, Coconut, Mint Creams, Toffee squares, Wafers and Peanut Brittle, all 10 x 100g; Chocolate Boxes - Strawberry Minis in 4 x 200g; and Hard Candies (boiled sweets) in peg bags - Assorted Fruit, Butterscotch, Lemon, Starlight Mint, Cherry and Jelly Beans, all 10 x 85g.
