Several new lines from Speciality Breads

Speciality Breads are launching new thaw and serve 'merende' breads, comparable to Spanish tapas and Greek meze.

Included are mini ciabatta and foccacia, said to be ideal for dipping in oils and vinegars or as canapés and buffet breads. The foccacia bites are dipped in extra virgin oil infused with rosemary needles, with the ciabatta sticks being made using a rye sourdough and then double fermented to develop a typical open texture.

To complement them, the company has introduced mini versions of its Kentish Huffkins which are made with flour from Kent's last commercially producing windmill.

Two new sweet breads have also been unveiled, suitable for serving with afternoon teas or breakfast dishes.

Individual panettone are made to the authentic Italian recipe with vine fruits and candied peel and perfect served with butter or clotted cream.

Individual fruited rustic loaves - ideal for continental breakfast or as a cheese board accompaniment - are produced with wholemeal flour, rustic flakes, chopped apricots and vine fruits and topped with rolled oats.
