Turnstile designers and manufacturers PERCo of St. Petersburg have announced a UK collaboration with Glasgow-based Directional Data Systems (DDS), manufacturers and suppliers of the Totem ticketing and Tracs access control systems.

Both parties see the obvious match with products and systems and plan to use this synergy to bring an enhanced one stop shop offering to the UK and European physical security and leisure markets.

DDS have a significant market share in this area and can capitalise on PERCo's big volume manufacturing capabilities. January 2007 saw the first appointments of a dealer network planned throughout the UK and it is proposed that these and end users will draw on stocks based in Glasgow on a telephone or internet overnight delivery basis.

Sergey Sankov, PERCo export manager said: "This is an ideal marriage of two reputable companies that will benefit the industry as a whole. DDS have an impressive long term business history and outstanding organisation backed up with substantial modern facilities in the north of Glasgow.”
