Spabasics has designed, created and launched an exclusive wine-based product line for the spacio La Rioja spa in Spain.

Made with grapes from the La Rioja region, the range is aimed at both therapists for use as cabin treatments at the spa and for retail to clients for home use. The latter includes a shower cream, a moisturising body cream, an exfoliating body gel, oil and thermal wine water.

spacio La Rioja opened at the beginning of the year in Logrono, the region's capital, and offers a wide variety of treatments based on wine therapies.

Cabins dedicated to these treatments include a lodarium to exfoliate the skin and prepare it for a wrap; a customised wine cabin in which one or two people can immerse themselves in a wine bath; and others where clients can enjoy a range of grape seed oil-based massages.
