Enchanting new attraction in Derbyshire

Leisure contractor, Western Log Group, has just completed a new indoor play facility at Conkers, a family visitor attraction in the Heart of the National Forest, Derbyshire.
'The Enchanted Forest' is a ‘hands on’ play area designed to improve the attraction’s indoor offering. It's based around a woodland theme, featuring giant animals and plant life which can be found at the base of the woodland, giving users the feeling of being in miniature during the play experience.
The forest features items such as giant acorns, metal leaves, mushroom roofs, butterfly roofs, leaf roofs, crawl panels and seed panels. Climbing walls, a suspension bridge, tube slides, rope spider webs, log ladders and grass snake crawl tubes with pods have been added to help create the woodland feel.
Mike Stickland, managing director of Planning Solutions Limited on behalf of the National Forest Foundation, said: “With over 120 acres of woodland and lakes at the heart of the National Forest site, there is plenty for visitors to do outdoors with walking areas, nature and arts trails.
"However, we are keen to improve our indoor visitor experience so the centre will continue to attract visitors all year round despite the season or weather conditions."
