The Art and Science of Beauty Therapy: A Complete Guide for Beauty Specialists is the latest in a series of guides for anyone studying for qualifications in beauty and complementary therapies.
Published by Holistic Therapy Books of Cambridge, the book has been written to meet the National Occupational Standards in the UK at Level 2 for Beauty Specialists, and Level 3 for Facial Electrical Treatments.
These standards are reflected in the syllabuses of all the main examination boards that award beauty qualifications - ITEC, VTCT, City & Guilds, BTEC and CIBTAC.
Independent beauty schools that award their own qualifications will also find that the book meets their requirements to help their students become professionally qualified.
To be launched on 5 September, The Art and Science of Beauty Therapy - ISBN 9781903348086, 304 pages - has been written and edited by Jane Foulston, Fae Major and Marguerite Wynne, Director, Qualifications Development and Education Manager of ITEC respectively.
