New from CRC Fitness Equipment is the Boxerciser, a lightweight wall mounted impact punch bag.

Explaining the rationale behind the creation of this latest piece of gym equipment, CRC explains that current health and safety regulations require a conventional punch bag and punch dummy to be fitted in a separate room or cordoned off area.

Since the Boxerciser is static and fitted to a wall, this cordoned off area isn't needed, which makes it space saving as well.

Developed with the general/serious fitness user in mind, including those in wheelchairs, the Boxerciser has not been designed to replace the punch bag, nor is it intended for professional use.

It also comes in a 'Lite' version which is more suited for the home fitness enthusiast.

An optional monitor is available, which allows the user to set a number of rounds and record the number of strikes, allowing the creation and recording of a specific workout.

The Boxerciser is a high density grade foam pad with a heavy duty PVC vinyl cover and said by CRC to be almost indestructible. The mounting wall plates are manufactured in a natural wood finish, unless otherwise specified.

When fitted to a wall and including wall plates and timer the apparatus measures 48in long, 24in wide and 12in deep. Without the timer it's 40in long.
