The project involves a site of roughly 10.000sq m, of which over 700sq m is dedicated to indoor and outdoor spa swimming pools, and is part of a building renovation programme and expansion plan for the latter by the Società delle Terme di Sirmione s.p.a.

The designers of the new centre have chosen Bone coloured tiles - a light ivory colour - and Marine - light green - at points needing to be clearly seen by the public, such as steps, terraces and slopes.

Aquaria has a vascular walk, a Jacuzzi pool and a 450sq m outdoor pool featuring a relaxation zone with seated and standing Jacuzzis, bubbling beds and mushroom and swan neck jets, plus a 90sq m indoor pool for therapeutic treatments. The pools' design is such that it gives the illusion of water running straight into the adjacent lake.

The two pools are connected by a 60sq m terrace bath in which swimmers can stop and relax.

The Catullo Spa complex offers all types of inhalation treatment, fangotherapy and balneotherapy, various types of manual and underwater massages, as well as treatment for vascular, gynaecological and dermatological diseases.
