Red light therapy improves sleep, aids recovery and enhances focus

Offering red light therapy to your members can create a valuable source of secondary spend, while also supporting them with their recovery and delivering improvements to mobility, circulation and muscle soreness.

According to Gareth Sapstead, a strength and physique coach, incorporating red light therapy into his routine has been a revolutionary decision.

"I originally started out in the elite rugby world and, after a period of transition, my goal now is to help anyone achieve sustainable fitness, which means helping people look great and feel great 365 days a year.

“I discovered Red Light Rising after a recommendation from a friend and I'm glad they did – it’s a great company and I’ve been using its products ever since.

“I use red light therapy at sunset and sunrise. It’s normal to find me in the morning having a cup of coffee and just sitting by the red light while I answer some emails.

“In the afternoon I also like a yoga recovery session while I’m exposed to the red light. As you can see, I’m integrating it as part of my normal day and it's not taking up any extra time.

“Since using Red Light Rising’s devices, I’ve personally seen a number of benefits: the largest one has been improvement in my sleep quality – now I’m able to get a good seven or eight hours each night.

“I’m also feeling the effects on my recovery overall and am experiencing much less muscle soreness after my workouts, which means I not only get a better workout the next day, but get better results from that workout as well.

“In addition, my ability to work and focus on things has also improved. I’m not sure whether that’s been a direct result of the red light itself or because the red light has improved my sleep quality – but what I do know is that it's working for me and I will stick with it.

“I personally want to thank James and Bryan – Red Light Rising’s founders, you guys are awesome and the red light has massively benefitted my life. Thank you for producing such great products.”
